Schedule:
Leave from Wal-Mart Thursday the 6th at 3:30 p.m.
Drive 6 or 7 hours and find a place to stay
(more info later - if you have relatives...)
Finish the drive to Cincinnati Friday morning
Arrive at the race course around 2 or 3
Register, Rig, Set up the tents, practice, etc...
Spend the next 2 nights at the Comfort Inn
(I have 16 rooms booked... for kids and parents)
Race Sat morning and Sat afternoon
Race Sunday morning
De-rig, pack the trailer, and depart by 1 p.m.
Drive until 10 or 11 p.m.
Spend the night at another hotel

Finish the remaining 3 or 4 hours Monday morning 7 a.m.

School issues:
You will be missing Friday and at least a half day Monday
We may have a car/van travel with us to the Syracuse area
That car could finish the drive Sunday night...

Cost:
The bus turned out to be a little more than I expected...
I anticipate the total cost being between $215 and $250.
Parents would not have to pay for the race fees and trailering
But they pay double for rooms (2 in a room instead of 4)
It pretty much evens out.

Detailed explanation of Cost:
I will provide a more detailed cost breakdown as soon as the numbers
are finalized.  Here is a general idea. 

Bus Ride ~ $95 each (based on 40 people on bus)
Hotel rooms ~ $20 per kid per night ($40 per adult per night)
Trailering ~ $15 per kid (not including spares)
Race fee ~ $10 per kid (not including spares)
Other ~ $30 per kid (rooms for coaches and bus driver, bus driver tip)
Food tent ~ $10 per person

Extra costs:
All participants must be USRA members... Call NOW to make sure.
I will need Your USRowing numbers by next week.
If you are not a member, it costs around $27

Number of people attending:
I will invite 27 competing athletes and 6 spares (2 for each boat)
Assuming all the spares decide to come, that leaves 14 extra spots
on the bus.  A few parents have mentioned they will be coming, but
I need to get a complete list in the next few days.
