Rowers -
Here is info on the Empire State Games tryouts this weekend.  The winner of
the tryouts win the spots for the Games.  The Games (the 75th Anniversary
this year) will be held in Syracuse.  The rowing dates for the Championships
are 8/1, 8/2, 8/3.  There is no cost.  The participants will be given rides
to Syracuse, housed, fed, and clothed (free ESG jumpsuits).  Please make
sure that you meet the requirements BELOW, AND can make the dates.  There
are strictly no substitutions once the lineups are set.  PLEASE BE SURE THAT
YOU CAN ROW ON THOSE DATES.  So, let me know your lineups by wednesday
latest.  Seniors & older, you must row the OPEN Division - the trials are
held on saturday morning at 8:00am.  Juniors and younger, must be in the
Scholastic Division - held on friday afternoon at 4:00pm.  All races are
held at Niskayuna's course.  We will be using Burnt Hills equipment, so we
don't need to trailer.

I do need to know your lineups asap.  Call around and ask each other about
lineups.  Have them set up by wednesday.  Open means college returnees can
row (Liz, Jennn W., Ashley, Talara, etc.) if they want.  There can be no
more than 2 fours in each division: Scholastic Girls, Scholastic Boys, Open
Girls, Open Boys.

See you guys.  Pass this info around to all the rowers.  A lot of people say
they are not getting emails.
