If you are driving to St. Pauls, I need someone to take charge at the bus?
I will be leaving earlier in the morning so I can get there before the bus.
I am probably going to take the northern route, and the bus will probably
take the southern route (along Mass Pike).  I guess the river is right on
campus.  When you get off exit 2 of I-89 you take a left off the ramp, then
a right onto Silk Farm Rd.  When you reach the end of the road, you would go
right to go to the main part of campus... instead you go left to the boat
docks (there should be a sign).  It should take around 3 hours.  We don't
race until 2:30.  I would like to be there by 1:00... If we leave by 9:30 we
should be in great shape.  Lets try to make sure the kids eat something
before 12:30.  Maybe the best thing is to arrive at 12:15 or so and eat
right away, then rig the boats.  The boats do need to be rigged by 2:00
though, and I would prefer if people were done eating by 1:00.

For the rowers and coxswains, this is a fantastic opportunity for our
club... arguably the best opportunity since the boys got to race St. Joes in
the rain...  We are going to race among the elite, and we will get our
chance to prove that we belong among the elite clubs in America.  In fact,
give or take one or two crews, on any given year this race will feature the
top public school, the top club, and the top private school.  I hope that
first of all, we can all be on our best behavior and we can demonstrate true
sportsmanship.  Secondly, we will race our hearts out and demonstrate a true
passion for the sport and for excellence.  Finally, we will have a great
time together, and we will share a positive experience with the other
members of our team as well as the quality people from CRI and St. Pauls...
Remember, just as those in your boat are one with you, and those on your
team are your brothers and sisters, all the rowers at the race are family as
well. We are united by a passion for the sport and we share the bond created
by the shared experience of investing so much into the sport.
