In order to pre-plan for the summer season, it really helps to get an idea
of who will be rowing ahead of time.  Please circulate the word and find out
who is rowing. Please e-mail me and let me know.  I will be heading out of
town for a few days, but when I return, I would like to have a good idea
about summer plans.  (I will probably end up calling you if I haven't heard
by the time I return)

As a side note, we may begin the season a few day early this year (this was
requested last year)  So, the anticipated starting date is Thursday, the
27th of June.

Also, please let me know in which class you fit.

JUNIOR B
A rower and coxswain will be classified a Jr.B until December 31st of the
year they reach the age of 16. For the 2002 Regatta, an athlete born in 1986
or later shall be eligible for Junior B competition.

JUNIOR
A rower and coxswain no longer a Jr. B shall be classified a Jr. until
December 31st of the year in which they reach the age of 18. For the 2002
Regatta, an athlete born in 1983 or later shall be eligible to row Junior.

SENIOR B
A rower and coxswain no longer a Jr. shall be classified a Senior B until
December 31st of the year in which they reach the age of 22. For the 2002
Regatta, an athlete born in 1980 or later shall be eligible to row Senior B.

There was a misprint on the Canadian Henley website.  The revised date for
Juniors is anyone born in 1984 or later.  Thanks.
